We know that philanthropy is fun and extremely rewarding and you do not have to be wealthy to make it a part of your everyday life. Here are a few ways A Good Deed Tea welcomes your support and we are open to any other ideas to help you would like to share with us.

HOST A TEA

Invite your friends over for an afternoon, put on a pot of tea, arrange some cookies on a platter, catch up, visit and have a wonderful afternoon. During your social gathering take a few minutes to talk about A Good Deed Tea, our mission and the organizations we support and ask everyone to uplift the lives of women through making a donation or hosting their own tea. It is simple, easy, really fun and we help you with all the paperwork and other preparations.

ORGANIZE TEAS IN YOUR AREA

If you like to organize events, if you like to get people together, if you are committed to our mission or if you just like getting the gals together for afternoon tea we welcome your support in organizing and facilitating tea events for others.

We are looking for Tea Mavens to support hostesses in having successful events by helping with the planning and happening of A Good Deed Teas and in talking about our mission at the events and making the request for support. MAKE AN IN-KIND DONATION

In an effort to keep the cost of hosting a tea to a minimum, we welcome donations of scone mix, jams, teas, cookies and anything else that will enhance a tea table.

Also we are always looking for donations of tea sets, snack plates, tea trays and three tier stands that we can loan to our Tea hostesses when requested to ensure her event and preparation flows smoothly.

At our events we raise additional funds through raffling off gift baskets filled with all kinds of items any guest would be thrilled to take home. Gourmet food items, designer pajamas, specialty lotions and potions and anything else women enjoy, would be appreciated as a donation.

MAKE AN ADMINISTRATIVE DONATION

All of the funds we raise at our teas are 100% passed on to the charity for which they are earmarked and we want to keep it that way.

Still we have our office expenses, our website and other supplies. Any donations to help up keep the doors open, the website up and the phones connected are greatly appreciated.

VOLUNTEER YOUR EXPERTISE

Maybe you have a talent at search engine optimization, blogging, Internet marketing, event planning, publicity or something else you think could benefit A Good Deed Tea and help us further fulfill our mission.
